Epiphany!

So I got an idea for my installation - FINALLY! There are 5 sheets of plexiglass, hung from the ceiling to mock the glass store front. I thought this might be the cheapest and most ideal way to make an enclosed store yet still display what's inside. I looked up plexiglass, which is sold right here at Home Depot. For a 3' x 6' piece of plexi, it's only 44.87!! That's not as bad as I thought. $224.35 in total. My school refund is a little of $600, so I still have room for printing! I guess the next step for that would be to talk to Fred about how to hang it??

Then Sara said we can mock up a store sign out of foam core which will clearly be hung as well. This will all give me a better idea on how to design my marketing!

I hav ebeen thinking about the plexi idea. It might be a good idea to see if they have any scrap where you are buying you plexi so you can test various things on it such as drilling, painting, vinyl, tinting, etc. It scratches so easily that you don't want to do all of your experimenting on your good pieces.
I really like the idea of the panels.
